The Caslano martial arts club was founded in 1976 under the guidance of Master Giuseppe Ferrara, then 3rd dan in Shotokan style karate,
who, having been granted permission by the municipality to use the newly built gymnasium of the municipal schools, started the club's activities, which still today without interruption produces many international level athletes, and offers many children, teenagers, and adults the opportunity to discover the magnificent world of Japanese martial arts.
The club teaches the discipline of karate, mainly focused on competition, and nanbudo, a more complete martial art that offers opportunities for mental and physical growth with the study of breathing and internal energy that controls our body.
